Updates on the past few months

My oldest daughter now 16 .....and so beautiful.

She also got her drivers permit......scarry!!!!!The newest addition to our family......Moose!

No I didn't graduate....but I did get the hat after it was thrown.

My son Graduated High School......and is going to college in the fall. My babies....what a cute bunch.

My baby turned 5......wow how time flys when your having fun.

She is just so sweet.

We have been doing so much more but I wanted to let you all know that I am still here. I have been peaking in on all of you though.

Sun Stars

We made a few sun stars to help bring in spring.

She made a candle jar while we made the stars, it turned out very cute.

Today has been a beautiful day and the weather is suppose to be even better tomorrow. We have been outside enjoying it all day. I also washed the windows and wow is it nice and bright in the house now. Spring has sprung here for me, we have seen our first robin last week and today we spotted a killdeer. I have been hanging sheets out on the line all day hoping to help with the flu bug going through the family. I have also aired the house out and fumigated with lysol spray.

Happy Birthday Dr. Suess

Today we watched the movie ....Horton Hears A Who. We will be reading several Dr. Suess books this week and doing a few other related projects.

Valentines Day

I meant to get our Valentine Day post in around Valentines Day but instead it is being posted now. We had a fun day of baking and eating sweets. Yes I Love Love chocolate!! I enjoyed all the Red in the house too.Big brother bought Valentines Day cards for all the girls....it was very sweet.

Recovering

I am still here I am just recovering from surgery. I need to take it easy for awhile. Hoping to be back soon.

HAPPY GROUNDHOG DAY

Today we watched a groundhog episode on Franklin. We also colored and crafted the groundhog and his shadow above. We heard on the news that "PHIL" has seen his shadow and that means another six weeks of winter. That means in mid March it will be all over???? I hope!! The weather looks like it will be in the 40's this weekend, compared to 0's and below freezing for the last month. I am looking forward to warmer weather and I am loving the sunshine too.

Well I am gonna grab the girls, cuddle on the couch, and read.....How Groundhog's Garden Grew.

AT THE BIRD FEEDERS

We have been feeding the birds for about three years and I wanted to share a few pictures with all of you. We have been enjoying learning about the birds that come to feed at our feeders. Hey thats homeschooling...hehe. Every year we seem to notice a new bird coming to eat and then we have another bird to learn about. House Sparrow
