HAPPY NEW YEAR

Wow another year gone by. I am looking forward to this year. I have been getting my homeschooling into a better schedule that we are all looking forward to trying. I am also planning to stick to Tea on Tuesday better this year. (keeping my fingers crossed)
We had a very nice Christmas this year and it will be one to remember. Our family was given a real tree this year by donation. (I use a fake tree every year) The tree was just beautiful. I was also getting very sick and had been to the Dr. twice, after antibiotics and feeling extremely ill still. I finally figured out that I was having an allergic reaction to our REAL tree. I ended up with a sinus infection and bronchitis just from the tree. Yea I know crazy huh! Just think of all those parents and people who are actually reacting to their tree and they go to the Dr. and are diagnosed with a virus. The minute we threw the tree outside I already stopped the burning in my throat and nose. It was 9 days of feeling like a severe cold and flu. So we were treeless this year.
So we are now off to a good look at a new year.
May God bless you all this 2009

SNOWFLAKE FUN

I saw these really cute craft snowflakes in the December issue of Family Fun and we had a fun time making them. It was really neat to make our own window clings and they really worked out well. We used fabric paints and made designs on wax paper, after they dried they really cling to glass good. The pipe cleaner snowflakes were really fun to put the beads on also. Enjoy!!
